behind the blog
Meet Aya
Blogger & Metabolic Health Advocate
I’m a 31-year-old recipe creator from Phoenix who recently found myself at a critical crossroads. After years of struggling with unexplained symptoms and navigating the “generic advice” of a traditional medical system, I was diagnosed with PCOS and severe MASLD (Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease).
For far too long, my specific health needs were overlooked. I finally reached a point where I decided to stop fighting my body and start caring for it. I’m sharing my story here in the hopes of offering a sense of community and clarity to anyone else navigating the complexities of chronic endocrine and metabolic illness.
While this blog began as a space dedicated solely to creating the “best” dishes, it has evolved into something much more personal. Today, it serves as a living document of my journey to reclaim my health. My mission is to prove that the path to long-term, sustained wellness doesn’t have to be clinical or restrictive. It can be just as vibrant and exciting as the meals we share at our tables.
