The Easiest Pickled Onions (30 Minutes Only!)
Make these vibrant pink Easy Pickled Onions ahead of time to jazz up just about any meal! The brine has just 3 ingredients and is ready in 30 minutes. Keep them in the fridge and pop them on tacos, burgers, and sandwiches.

Ingredients

red onion
peeled, halved and thinly sliced

cups
of red wine vinegar
2
teaspoons
of salt
2
tablespoons
of cane sugar
Instructions
In a large mason jar, add the sliced onions.
Pour in the vinegar, salt and sugar.
Screw on the lid and shake the jar for 20 seconds.
Refrigerate and let the onions marinate in the brine for 30 minutes or more until ready to serve.
Keep refrigerated in a sealed mason jar for up to 3 weeks.
