Smoked Salmon and Avocado Keto Toast

Salty, buttery smoked salmon and fresh avocado get loaded onto crunchy keto bread for a breakfast that will sustain you all the way until lunch. With virtually zero fructose, this toast will keep your gut happy and your liver feeling calm.

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces keto bread I use Nature's Own
  • 1 small avocado, halved and pitted
  • 3.5 oz smoked salmon
  • ¼ lemon
  • pinch flaky sea salt
  • chopped chives, to serve

Instructions

  • Toast the keto bread until golden brown.
  • Scoop out 1/2 of the avocado onto a slice of bread and lightly mash it around with a fork. Repeat for the other slice.
  • Sprinkle a little flaky salt and drizzle a squeeze of lemon over the avocado (I like to layer my lemon juice so it doesn't all run off my salmon instead).
  • Top each piece of toast with the smoked salmon, chopped chives, and a final squeeze of lemon juice. Simple and delicious!
